Yen Magazine’s Photo of the Day | Halfway Home

The lovely people at Yen have made one of my photos Photo of the Day over at their site.

I was on my way back to Australia from a long adventure in very foreign places, and I stopped in LA. It was the most like-home place I’d been in a year. People spoke English, they were taller than me, and standing at the edge of the Pacific on those wide, unfamiliar West Coast beaches I could almost picture Australia on the other side. Almost.

This double-exposure was shot on a Diana+.
